The Judging process
There are a total of 29 judges for the 2009 Personnel Today Awards, bringing a very wide range of expertise to the process of choosing the shortlisted teams and winners in each category. View pictures and profiles of the judges.
All entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
The entry statement (not exceeding 600 words) should include the following bullet points:
- The challenge
- What the organisation did
- Benefits and achievements
The judges can also take into consideration supporting material (up to a maximum of 5 sheets of A4)
The shortlist and winners of the Personnel Today Awards are chosen by experts drawn from the industry. Each category is judged by its own panel of experts selected from the industry for their expertise, and also a representative from Personnel Today.
Entries are first thoroughly read and then discussed on a judging day where the judges fill in a form giving their first, second and third choice before a winner is chosen.
